Great colleagues but management has killed the 'COWI spirit'

Even with 7,000 colleagues, people are always happy to help and share their knowledge.

Cons

After big changes in the organisation with "help" from Boston Consulting Group, the old, happy COWI spirit and flat hierarchy is gone.

Interesting work with very challenging projects due to complexity. Supportive management with route to chartership. Gained rounded experience of technical, commercial, networking and management roles. Supported and encouraged to pursue expert status in chosen field.

Cons

Mobility within the company often down to capability/reputation. Can be siloed with a certain skillset. Need to be very technically capable to succeed beyond a certain point
