Pros

I have never worked for a company that has focused on employee retention so much. Fully vested 401k after 90 days, a company wide recognition system, quarterly STIP program for certain employees and pretty decent benefits. My boss is very flexible and allows for us to be successful without micromanaging us.

Cons

I dont understand certain decisions about how money is spent at my location. We are spending money fixing up the interior of the building when we are moving in about 2 years. Seems like that could be allocated better.

Thank you for your feedback. There are a lot of employees who enjoy the schedules at the IN site as well! I would encourage you to stop by and discuss with your site HR Manager or supervisor the point system.

Pros

The work environment is laid back, and people are friendly. You may be able to negotiate a good salary as it's sometimes tough for them to recruit quality candidates.

Cons

However, if you're thinking about career, it won't happen there. Constant reorgs/lay-offs, lack of career planning conversations, industry very cyclical. Also, most of the top positions at HQ are and hire from 2 major companies where they previously worked. It's something everybody talks about. Forget about promoting from within. If you want some challenges, learning the industry/systems "for 1-2 years" then do it, but keep in mind your career first and move on when you have a chance. If you don't, they will, or you'll stay but won't get promoted.
