      just like a fraternity

      Pros

      Lots of opportunities for professional development paid for by the company (depending on your manager). Lots of long-term employees. Ability to work independently without being micromanaged. Fully stocked kitchen w/ snacks, occasional catered lunch.

      Cons

      Opportunities for advancement seemed to only be for the guys who fit with the guys in charge. If you're not Irish, I don't think they really care about you. Lots of arrogant people in charge. No diversity whatsoever and I think they prefer it that way. People way too uptight. Poor communication from the top down. Senior managers don't always make themselves available to the little guys. Boring and predictable work environment (forced monthly birthday celebrations and such.)

      A strange place to work

      Pros

      You have the ability to think outside of the box to provide solutions. A large organization, so you get to work with all levels within the company. They pay their employees fairly.

      Cons

      Senior Management does not communicate well with the organization. A large amount of the promotions are given to people that are not qualified. There is zero diversity, it is a good old boy club. No one takes ownership and therefore there is a lack of accountability.

      Lots of Management Turnover

      Pros

      Benefits, lots of overtime, product discounts.

      Cons

      Every year the leadership at the site level turns over. They fire the leadership so quickly that there is no consistency in policies or procedures. With a new manager each year you can never move up either, and people are scared to move up because they're worried they'll be fired.
