Lack of upward mobility. Oldcastle does a lot of hiring from the outside as opposed to promoting from within.

There are a few phony, childish, insecure, and truly treacherous folks in high-level positions that have people fooled. They constantly gossip about others from subordinates to executive management. They will lie or set people up to fail if they "feel" threatened or if maligning you somehow elevates their own status or makes them feel better about themselves. The environment was hostile and toxic.
