Pros

Based on personal experience, the Cons outweigh the Pros

Cons

1). Very short staff. 2). Minimal room for career growth 3.) Manager is hardly available. Constantly on leave. If you're a new hire this may pose a challenge for you. 4). Their software is outdated. You will find it very challenging to do your job efficiently. No one could ever address system issues or issues with reporting. It's usually chalked up to something the Payroll team processed. The Payroll team often denies any fault. This will pose a challenge when doing reconciliations for taxes owed to Gov agencies. 5). The Tax team is quite behind on tax filings/deposits for divisional partners. This creates a trinkle down effect for the Analyst on the front end. You'll likely find yourself working longer than expected to stay caught up. The divisional partners aren't as professional in communication and tend to escalate State tax issues daily. Prepare to work escalations frequently. 6). Upper Management expectations aren't realistic. Tax deposit days require your full attention but you will often be pulled away to work an escalation that can sometimes take a couple hours to resolve. As a result, you may find yourself not being able to hit target deposit deadlines within the day. 7). The pay doesn't match the job description. Best advice, negotiate minimal 80k if you're looking to be apart of this organization. At least the salary will combate the amount of stress you may be under. 8). Flexibility to WFH is limited in the present. They've started bring associates back in office. 9) Moral of the story ( Avoid them like the plague). Don't say I didn't warn you (shoulder shrug)
