Pros

Short work assignments (approx. 60 minutes), so it was possible to finish and escape abusive store managers quickly. Paid some drive time and mileage Plenty of opportunities to practice dealing with indifferent management

Cons

No raises, so pay fell below minimum wage over time. Repeated reminders that if I had a "real job," I'd get reviews & raises. So many required tasks per 60-minute visit - and no way to report "not enough time" so had to work 10-12 hours to get paid for eight hours. A lot of data fed back to clients was manufactured per manager directive. Complaints about wasted time, wasted resources, unnecessary expenses, and data falsification met with threats of termination.

Pros

Nice campus. Large cubes. Plush restrooms. Structure appears good to public eye which, of course, is great for the brand. Company wide social activities were provided throughout the campus for major holidays. Windows views were really nice from all four sides to the building and landscaping was quite scenic.

Cons

Parking is scarce. Unfortunately, the department I worked was discriminatory towards others unlike the majority. Director was snooty and noticeably bias with her close colleagues. It was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had as I personally was mistreated "racial discrimination". A horrible feeling to be hired just to be ignored yet verbally mistreated and rudely "bossed" by someone whose end goal seemed to be the development of false accusations on a daily basis. Luckily, former employees built a solid case over the misconduct of these circumstances done towards a minority group. It was abuse on the job!

Serial Pooper never caught

Pros

Pay is too low. There were a few good looking women there which made the day go by quicker. Somewhat redundant job, hiring for the same position. The most exciting day was the time someone pooped on the floor in the woman's bathroom. We spent hours trying to figure out who it was and why it happened. It was all we could talk about for weeks. My job as a recruiter slowly shifted from recruiting to determining who this pooper was. I'm a guy so I wasn't allowed in the women's restroom and was unable to obtain the specimen for a dna sample. Days and long sleepless nights turned in to weeks and months, trying to figure out the meaning of the poop. So many questions needed to be answered. Was the pooping perpetrator trying to send a message? If so, did they temporarily change their diet to elude detectives? Did they poop in their pants just to have it fall out just outside of the toilet? I started showing up late to work, no sleep, hair in complete disarray. My coworkers knew something was different about me but I couldn't divulge any intel as it may have compromised the investigation. This eventually started to consume most of my days and started using my car as a makeshift office for my investigation. With no leads and the evidence already destroyed I knew this was going to be an unsolvable case. To this day, its the one cold case that has haunted me for most of my professional career.

Cons

no advancement, low pay, poop
