Pros

In my opinion, the only real perks of working with Crossmark would be the flexibility in the schedule (pretty easy to get time off when needed) and working mostly early morning hours, allowing employees to be done for the day earlier than with most jobs.

Cons

If you are looking for opportunities to advance your career, this is absolutely not the place for you to work. Since I have been employed by the company, I have received two pay decreases and a demotion, yet I would consistantly be told how much of an asset I am to the company and how great of a job I do in the field. Way to show an employee how much they are valued... taking 12% of my hourly rate away totally made me feel like I was appreciated by the company. Drive time and mileage are a joke when compared to what other merchandising companies pay their employees. You are expected to give and give and give, yet all the company does in return is take from employees. I left the company with such a sour taste in my mouth. I am on to bigger and better things, and am so happy to be able to not have to depend on Crossmark as my main source of income. If you are considering a job with Crossmark, run, and run fast. You'll thank me later.

Pros

Associates relationships and the CPG industry.

Cons

Management. Too busy golfing to provide leadership. No review in 2 years. No bonus ever, Clients comments are the only thing that matters to management. They have no loyality to the associates and as said before feell that all can be replaced. Of course if you like stepping all over your fellow man then you "MIGHT" advance. As long as you are good at sticking in the blade.

Pros

Independence, fun, good starting salary

Cons

Poor communication. No in-house posting of job opportunities or promotion possibilities. No raises. Ever. Project planners do not actually test directives sent to over 2,000 stores in a real store. Retail Supervisors not always supportive or understanding their teams challenges. Really challenging expectations. All events planned in AR or TX. With no regional deviation from rules permitted. So an outdoor event in March is going to be an outdoor event. With no coat/sweater allowed. Even in MI, MN, WI.
