Pros

I'm given the opportunity to learn and grow on each project. This challenges me to continue to adapt to different technologies and use "best practice" methods. My schedule is flexible and I have a great work/life balance. My boss trusts me and is confident that I could figure out whatever is needed at the time.

Cons

Some of the people I work with can be very difficult to communicate with. Sometimes personalities can clash due to work pressure and priorities.

- good bosses - helpful co-employees - robust leadership development program - interesting and important work - decision making authority within areas of responsibility - a growing, profitable, stable company

Cons

Because it is a 24/7/365 operation, evening and weekend work for management personnel is common.
