Often you deal with driver managers that have never drove a semi truck. There's a disconnection between reality and what they ask you to get done.

Frustrating seeing the lack of resources available with a company of rev over a billion dollars.

Great Company/Bad Business Plan

Pros

On the sales end, they had excellent training on location in Cedar Rapids, IA. Really established a great foundation in the logistics field because of the support up there.

Cons

For all the money they spent, training, and hiring, they had a terrible long term business plan for their satellite offices. Think it could have been managed better. Also, when they laid everyone off, severance was a joke.

We are glad to hear training went well for you in Cedar Rapids., Often when a company has to make a difficult decision to eliminate a group of employees there are individuals who would like to have been provided with "more". We have specific guidelines we have to follow regarding severance in order to ensure parity.
