Crappy environment (mold in bathrooms, ceiling tiles falling out of ceiling due to leaking roofs, the main bathroom is closed for maintenance seemingly every other day, stains on carpet & dust accumulates like there’s no tomorrow). Morale is extremely low —leaving upper management to try and put a bandaid over it, but ultimately the “perks” just feel like a slap in the face. Turnover is extremely high and you think that would be a large red flag, but they don’t care. Management is almost never available when you need them.

I regret accepting a position here, the horrible smell from working right next to cattle farms should have been the first red flag. The office is a dusty old converted house which operates in 1980s standards. Everything is done manually and on paper. The management practices micromanagement and the work is tedious as best. Development is restricted as the managers hold firm to any tasks above administrative-level duties. I would not even suggest an entry-level person to work here. The working environment is unprofessional due to the nature of the trucking business, heavy usage of profanity, which also includes the president of the company. The truck drivers are underpaid, regardless of experience and are given little respect.
