      Bad for US Economy, bad for Members

      Pros

      Somehow managed to keep the company afloat.

      Cons

      Outsourcing jobs at alarming rates, just call an 800 number, you are guaranteed to get someone with no knowledge of the area in which you live. The PLT (Presidential Leadership Team) does not listen to the employees. Senseless organizational changes and brutal layoffs affecting mostly employees with longevity. Shifting strategies that are never fully executed or realized. Replacing employees with part-time, no benefits employees. Pubic Health care debate is now critical to cover these employees that did not exist three years ago. Executive Bonuses a complex ethical issue, as they are never disclosed, AAA is after all a Non-Profit.

      Pros

      Working at AAA provides me the opportunity to truly make a difference in our members lives. AAA is not for profit, so actions and decisions are genuinely focused around the impact to our members and "doing the right thing." Additionally, we have worked hard to create a diverse, inclusive environment predicated on the idea of mutual respect and grounded in our core values.

      Cons

      Like any organization, we have our challenges. I have personally been frustrated by some of the "red tape" that I guess comes with being a hundred-year old organization, and feel we could get much better in our messaging from our senior leaders to our core employees.

      Pros

      A proud member sales & service based culture that has produced extremely caring & knowledgeable staff members.

      Cons

      Many of the current decision makers were not part of our culture that truly made this company great. And their actions continue to indicate that do not wish to adhere to values our members expect.
