Pros

Comments specifically reflect experience working for internal operations in Falls Church. -- Colleagues among the most knowledgeable, dedicated and loyal that I've ever met at any company I've worked for and with. Their tolerance for pain, pressure, and unnecessary complexity and red tape is higher than their executive leadership is aware of and certainly deserves. The business operations folks are not given nearly enough respect for holding the back end of the company together. for so many years despite antiquated infrastructure and lack of reinvestment back into the company. Pleased that the NPS team has broken off and given the opportunity to be successful as a separate entity.

Cons

Again, comments specifically reflect experience working for internal operations in Falls Church. -- Outdated infrastructure, non-standardized and non-documented policies and processes, convoluted business acquisition strategies, executive "finger pointing" and infighting have crippled the company. After contributing years of blood, sweat and tears, many of CSC's most loyal have finally had enough and are walking away.

Pros

Work from home, many smart individuals, work with co-workers from all around the world, Mike L. is trying to turn the company around and seems to have made progress.

Cons

Matrix organization (although fairly standard for this industry and company size), flat organization - not a lot of room for advancement, so many new leaders at top 2-3 layers of the org that are trying to prove themselves resulting in conflicting priorities, some team duplication = rounds of layoffs, benefits have gotten worse. HR policies are short-sided and have gotten worse.

Pros

Customers - Addressing some of the most prestigious organizations and Fortune 100 companies out there.

Cons

Everything. From the the first day of my employment it became clear that the employee was not important or considered an asset regardless of what corporate mantra was chanted. From benefits not kicking in on time (nearly three month delay), to corporate cards not paid on time. (switch from Diners to AMEX middle of employment term, CSC failed to pay the bill for three months.)
