Pros

Due to the size of the company (about 87,000 employees), I've had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients.

Cons

Declining benefits packages, constant contradiction between policy and practice, very frustrating from day to day. They make even the simple things difficult. It took them several months to pay my expense reports! Mediocrity is rewarded. The company doesn't try to preserve long-term relationships with customers, which puts the consultants in a very difficult position. Lots of uncertainty about the future of the company. People are jumping ship every day.

Pros

Good team of people at the bottom level. Flexible hours.

Cons

Poor management, too much disconnection, not enough communication, bad HR department, unable to get tools required to do job, cut people just to improve numbers. Higher ups appear to have poor ethics. Poor hiring process. Poor budgeting. Cut too many benefits over the past couple years, that leaves a bad taste in mouth.

Pros

Very supportive direct management. Lateral movement is offered and encouraged.

Cons

Upper management is completely cut off/shielded from what's actually happening at client locations. Personal time is non-existent as management and account leaders will contact you on your time off, even while sick. Raises do not come yearly, as such salaries are way below keeping up with cost of living. Very poor communication from upper management to lower management and line employees. Many rounds of layoffs over 2014 have left many teams struggling to keep up with work load.
