      No Communication. No Processes. No Progression

      Pros

      Pay is decent along with the benefits package offered Most people are helpful & nice to work with.

      Cons

      - No communication or inclusion on new initiatives/projects. However, you are then told to drop everything and work on the new thing to deliver immediately. -No career progression or appropriate pay rise for absorbing additional work or good performance in tough conditions -Short term vision & strategy, Everything is actioned reactively -No processes at all. Everything is done without a structure in place. -Treatment of employees is abysmal - 1990's toxic work and blame culture =Leaving employees are not replaced, but same level of work is expected.

      Pros

      Role allowed me to build solution with a lot of autonomy Good compensation and workload Mostly good workplace culture and supportive team

      Cons

      People I worked with weren't technical so couldn't provide much guidance there, had to learn on my own Started off using very outdated technology, moved to a cloud solution but was still basic implementation without a lot of modern tech stack because it was only me building it Difficult to get business support/funding for project, lots of bureaucracy Some internal politics and frequent restructuring, but I was largely shielded from it

      Pay is fine, they’re a little stingy with bonuses. But it’s pretty stable and the work life balance is unmatched

      Cons

      Bonuses are a little sketchy and they try to undermine it as much as they can
