Pros

Stable and decent pay. Depending on your position and rank, benefits and bonuses can vary. Starting to become more flexible in terms of work style and work/life balance, but still rather slow progress.

Cons

Very hierarchical organization with a lot of internal politics. Avoidable in some cases, but it can be frustrating and distracting. HR system is unfair, with over emphasis of benefits for sales team only. Very Japanese.
