      Pros

      I really enjoyed the people with whom I had the opportunity to work. Benefits were good, work-life balance was good, and I had a lot of freedom within my job to try new things and develop areas that I thought were important.

      Cons

      Very little guidance from leadership. If you are not part of the core group of 'special people' then you will not enjoy any respect, nor will people listen to you. The company does not share any information and there are tremendous work and information silos. There is a lot of talk about good communication, but it's just that; all talk. The recruiting process needs a lot of work internally; very little collaboration to identify the right needs and hire the right people.

      Pros

      CSSI had a great office culture, work-life balance and actively worked to ensure employees were happy, well-trained and part of an environment that fostered productivity. This pretty much disappeared after several rounds of lay-offs and shake-ups in senior management.

      Cons

      Zero room for personal and professional growth and the revolving door of senior managers and executives meant constantly changing environments and procedures.

      Pros

      CSSI is a small company which I like. I work with great people who are very knowledgable of their craft.

      Cons

      Communication is an issue, especially if you work off-site. They seem to let people go rapidly when the work runs out or if the client requests it. Many have left the company. Many is senior management positions have left. Very little opportunity for advancement. Training opportunities are online on your own time, unless paid for by the client.
