Pros

I have really enjoyed working here. There are a ton of social opportunities, great coworkers, friendly and fun atmosphere, and the company encourages you to learn as much as possible. I have been given the opportunity to take online courses to help continue to grow my SEO expertise and the company even gives incentives for learning and growing.

Cons

The company has been growing very fast and is trying to transition from a startup mentality to a large company often has it's challenges. It's a problem that I am glad that we have.

Pros

Coalition is a growing company. It seemed like we were constantly getting cool new clients, getting lots of new team members, and hitting new milestones. That was very exciting for me and also helped me feel like I was 'secure' there. I also liked feeling very valuable. I found that if I was providing feedback and pushing my critiques of the company to the right people, stuff got done.

Cons

There is a lot of pressure on everyone. Despite the size, everyone is critical to the company's health, and management sometimes makes that too clear. If you mess up, its not uncommon to get called on it in front of other team members. If you don't have a thick skin, Coalition probably isn't the right place for you.

Pros

I am someone who likes a busy environment and learning a lot, so working here was perfect for me. I used to work at another company where I spent a lot of time watching the clock inch toward the end of the day and I would get bored out of my mind. While working here, I never had that issue: there was always more work than I could get done which was stressful, but kept me busy and learning things. Some other reviewers I saw did not like that, but I enjoy having a purpose and I don't think I have ever learned as much at any other job. The other perks are nice but didn't really make much difference for me: they have snacks, monthly events, profit share and stuff like that.

Cons

I have seen other reviews mentioning that the CEO micromanages. He definitely does do that, but he never did it to me. He also chilled out a lot over the last year - I think the company is getting too big for him to do that since it is over 50 people there. What I didn't like most was that the commute was so long. I had to spend over an hour in my car each way and ultimately that led me to resign.
