Cons
Confusing...After 3 weeks, I was told I would be converted from temp to CTDI employee as a direct results of my outstanding work and abilities. 3 weeks later, I FINALLY am told that my supervisor has my offer letter. He is off that day, so I ask my next in line superior who informs me that only my supervisor can give me the letter but notes that i need to do better about being on time. On Monday I was 20 min late. My supervisor informed me that the offer letter was rescinded and that if I was later again, I was fired. I informed him that Thursday I had scheduled dentist apts for my kids, and I likely may be late. I rushed appointments, rushed to work and got in the building before my scheduled time. I got in line to clock in, but punched 1 minute after my scheduled time. I went straight to my supervisor and informed him. He said it was fine. Since work wasn't completed when it was time to go, I stayed almost 30 minutes past my scheduled time so we finished our daily goal. While I was still on the floor, the temp agency left a message that I not longer worked there. I received the weekly attendance bonus EVERY pay check because I never missed a single day. I was aloud to finish on Thursday because it benefited them. I spoke with the temp agency and CTDI HR as well. I was told I was a hard worker, but on principle, I was being let go. Not allowing my to finish my week cost my over 1/3 of what I was being paid weekly. Not once did I miss until the day they told me to not report anymore. Leads have been permitted to miss in excess of 10 days the 6 weeks I was there. I was praised for my hard work and ability to learn and cross train easily. On "principle" I was let go over inefficient coworkers and poorly attending lead employees.
