Pros

I really enjoy the consultants and engineers with whom I work. The crawfish boil and other parties are a lot of fun.

Cons

Many of the managers and directors neglect their clients and projects. Promotions are expedited for those who befriend a chosen few.

Pros

Willing to go in new directions. Interested in growing rapidly. Offers training for software developers.

Cons

Appears to lack focus and direction. Senior management at times lacks integrity. Only the very largest clients get experienced software developers to work with. Medium-sized companies or new clients get rookies (straight out of college), so it's a roll of the dice regarding the outcome.

Dull and tedious work where number of hours billed is valued more than talent

Pros

Good report with Atlanta office colleagues. After hours socializing events were frequent. Managers usually covered some or all of the tabs. Certification expenses were covered provided you were able to get them approved by senior management.

Cons

Worked in the Atlanta office with one of their downtown clients. I was given a manual to study, and later sent to the client as a "consultant". The more hours you bill, the quicker you get promoted. They strictly work with .NET IT shops. Little to nothing in terms of working with innovative technology. Their "experts" are on par with low level Matrix IT service contractors. Same business model - farm out labor.
