Shambles of a company with no morals

Pros

None - I have to find 5 words, unfortunatly there isnt anything positive to write about this company. Before the Private investment , we were like a family and a strong team. Since the investment, the company is now full of power blood sucking upper managment. Morale is at an all time low. Dont be sucked into the lies about it being a company who care about there employees. Converge DO NOT and will NOT care..........

No flexiable working (God forbid if you need to take a docs appointment) No respect to members of staff (old or new) Over priced solutions with finger in the air pricing depending on how the sales team or account manager think they can get away with. Waited years for change to happen. Since the new CTO, things have now become worse! If you leave, and have outstanding expenses, dont expect them to pay out. Internal management will reject them, without explaination. (Small claims court will be the only way!) If you dont require a work life balance, and you dont feel the need need feel appreciated in your job, CTS is for you!

Hello, I’m disappointed to read your review although I appreciate the time taken to provide feedback. As a fast-growing company that is now private equity backed, we have made a number of changes to prepare for future growth over the last 12 months. I admit that we don’t always get it right, but I do believe that we always strive to make decisions that are in the interests of our staff. I am concerned that you say CTS does not care. We have recently introduced a number of new employee benefits and initiatives to improve communication and gather feedback, but perhaps we should look to introduce satisfaction measures to ensure we’re making positive changes across the business. This is something we will look into. Finally, there are a couple of points within your review that I wish to address. Firstly, I want to be clear that we do not restrict the ability to attend medical appointments, and secondly, expenses are paid in line with our company policy. Genuinely none that i can think of

When a P1 gets shouted out across the room which is a critical outage its like watching a bunch of headless chickens go into a state of clueless emergency. You are better off pretending you need the toilet and hide there till the storm calms. Thats how bad it is. If you suffer from the slightest bit of anxiety this place will boost it ten fold and will stay with you for a very long time if not permanently. The CEO's love child gets a car parking space right at the front door which is wrong. You will know who the love child is because there is a picture of them together just outside the chill out room with pool table. Daily false promises, lots of cloak and dagger back stabbing with two faced management, colleagues. You will not be yourself in this place, you will have to put on an act just to survive the probationary period. Staff turn over at this place is shocking for such a small outfit. They think because they offer you a fruit bowl that gets robbed straight away, a free beer on friday 4pm, and a wonky pool table that its an amazing place to work. Trust me its not. Avoid working at their Daresbury office like the bubonic plague

No pros at all, i tried, but all the pros have been taken away from us

Cons

Staff leaving left right and centre. On the service desk over the last 2 months, we have lost 7 engineers, 5 from the 2nd line and 3 from the 1st line, and there's more to come!!! This is mainly because of the greediness of higher management, they changed our contracts to include weekend working, which went down like a ton of bricks, we have no choice but to work it!!!! We have lost some amazing engineers, who have been replaced with inexperience. Customers complaining left right and centre, which again, is being ignored!!! Our TL is one good thing about the business, she's great and always has time and tries to put a positive spin on things, but he will take more than her to turn this around!!!
