Pros

Good salary, good benefits, flexibility to transfer to another store if relocation is necessary, most of my co-workers are wonderful people to work with

Cons

Upper management is totally out of touch with workload and staffing. I'm in a slow store and have no help on the weekend. It's extremely difficult to fill all of the automatic refills and scripts from walk-in patients, answer the phone, ring people up at the register, deal with insurance problems, count all of the CII drugs for the monthly audit, scan all of the prescriptions that haven't been picked up yet, order what is needed from our wholesaler, scan out of stocks for the warehouse order, review the warehouse order to make sure we are getting what we need, and make approximately 50 calls to patients to see if they need refills on their scripts. Apparently I'm also supposed to function without eating or visiting the restroom.

Pros

Benefits are awesome and pay is good. Health insurance is awesome. The pay and vacation days are a great benefit. Sick leave is awesome.

Cons

Some employees are overbearing and rude with coworkers. Hardly any motivation for employees. Need to rely a little more on employee cooperation.

Pros

Clean facility, nice and quiet, safe environment, great automation concepts, reasonably priced lunch at cafeteria, easy job, good benefits. not the best pay-scale, factory is usually located in depressed area so employees don't have other choices.

Cons

Fascist culture, no flexibility, power hungry supervisors, worst HR department I've have seen promoting prison culture of snitching under the disguise of team work and reason for safety and zero errors. Workers are conditioned to act and compete with robots while showing fake smiles. Two tear policies, a flexible one for those in the click and nepotism, and the highest standard one with zero tolerance holding feet to the fire for everyone else. Employees are written up based on investigations results of false accusations, just shy of final warning to be fired, lead tech thinks of themselves as God gifts to their subordinates and they are as or worse abusive than the nasty supervisors. While some employees appear to be happy about their job, they can quickly tell you how miserable their work situation, once they gain your confidence, there is no human connection to the employees by their superiors. Even with the benefit of discount purchasing at CVS stores, employees are over paying for items, since most items are overpriced.
