Pros

Flex time for appointments but you make up for it by working overtime for free.

Cons

Horrible culture due to leadership and management. Constant harassment from supervisor. HR unsupportive. You are required to meet all deadlines during your week of PTO so you have to work double before your PTO in order to meet these deadlines. Random useless meetings and "trainings" without decreased workload/expectations. Low pay and 2.5% raise is a joke. If you want to feel like you are never good enough, work here.

Pros

Good benefits even beyond standard PTO and medical/dental coverage. Opportunity to work from home.

Cons

Poor management and extreme turnover due to concerns that are not addressed. New staff are not able to feel supported or confident in role because management is not able to give the needed guidance as most have never done direct case management. This leads to more senior case managers unofficially mentoring and training new hires. This had definitely contributed to turn over of more senior case managers due to added pressure to support colleagues and turn over with new staff who are not able to get connected for support. Multiple “interim directors” over the past 3 years and now looking at change to another director, when these changes happen any progress to what was being address is lost as every director has a different plan/goal. Ethical concerns with documentation and services to members, unfortunately management turns their heads when brought up AND no action when brought to ethics.l department. In role just 6 months shy of 6 years and has continued to go down hill. If you are not willing to cut corners and sacrifice advocating member need to make it appeal like you are meeting their metrics. No advancement unless you are in with management and extremely hard to get transfer departments internally.
