Pros

The employee discount is good

Cons

I came on board from a well run company. I am abhored to find that the payroll is so low (not lowish like many retailers) that you literally have to ring off and on all day, stock, and do mostly all things but manage, motivate and focus on customers. So many unecessary tasks, controls and processes / old systems, and insanely low payroll

Pros

they let you take CVS where ever you go. I have moved to two different states and CVS has been along for the ride the whole way. it has been a steady job for me for the last two years.

Cons

They want so much done with as little people as possible. they barely give tech hours and when they do ....they end up cutting hours a few months later. they have no clue what really goes on in a pharmacy. they forget about the people that are on the front line. they only look at numbers not real life situations.

Pros

Actually have the power to resolve customer issues instead of just passing them up the ladder Additional responsible make it feel like less of a cashier position than some Shift Supervisor B positions The insurance options are affordable and good coverage

Cons

Stores are open everyday including even Christmas. Week leading up to Christmas the stores are even open to midnight making for long days The work is very demanding as there is a lot to do with not much payroll to do it. Every year the payroll budget shrinks while the workload increases thanks to "initiatives" that are suppose to help. Upper managements feels very out of touch with the realities of the store. Numbers are all that really matter. If you make your marks in Triple S or Execution you will hear nothing but if you miss a target you will hear about it, and most likely from several people. Too many hands in the cookie jar. The pay is terrible for the demands of work, and much of the work is physically difficult.
