      Pros

      Flexible Schedule if you need time off or go to College Offer employee benefits like 401k/Insurance/Stock Purchase Plan, however Insurance isn't the best Always something different to do everyday

      Not compensated enough for the amount of work required Customers and Management can be extremely rude at times CVS is in cost cut mode so that means, hours and pay They are open EVERY DAY of the year

      Stable company Growth Potential (if you know how to play the game) Decent Pay (if you request it from the start) Great work experience (other companies will hire you because they know that you know how to work with little or no help) Good Benefits Package

      Cons

      Demanding Upper Management No empathy if you are left without Management help if your Mgnt team quits or are transferred to another location. Long Hours required if your store is to be kept at company standard. You will work with little or no help to try to accomplish all of the daily workload tasks. Lack of respect shown to Store Personnel by uppermanagement (this is due to them having no respect given to them by their upper management) Most Regional Managers or AVP's have no clue on what it takes to run a store or a Pharmacy Dept Most RM's, and AVP's have no in-store experience in working at a CVS Store
