      I miss my Longs, but thankful for a job!

      Pros

      Flexible hours since I am a single mom with disabled child, a wonderful understanding manager, awesome photo department, Health benefits are better than before.

      Cons

      There is no help. I had a customer yelling across the store to me to get help. There is usually only 2 people in the store at a time. Very unsafe working conditions. Someone is going to get hurt. Already had an incident with a customer being hurt and no employee to be found. We are opening ourselves up to lawsuits galore.

      Pros

      It's an ok job. It was great when I was a high school kid. No one really expects much from you. The scheduling is very flexible. As long as you're on time and treat people with respect you'll be fine.

      Cons

      It's pretty boring. Also they have a rewards program you must facilitate for the customers. This is a complete nightmare because no one ever reads the sale signs, so they'll yell at you over 30-80 cents worth of sale. Generally I just give them my pocket change equating to the amount they feel they deserve and they'll go away.
