Pros
My review is mixed since I was there before the CVS/Caremark merger. Caremark was decentralized and well run. Employees were valued and great support. My manager (VP) was awesome and still talk to her.
Cons
CVS is going to cause the demise of Caremark. After the merger of 2006, morale deteriorated, benefits were cut and now we were forced to refill Rx's at CVS. The reason it seems they bought us was to re-route our mail order business clientele into their store pharmacies. It's only a matter of time before they strip Caremark for what they can get and dump what's left of a great company. Everything will be in RI eventually because that's what the CEO wants and everyone knows it. I was offered another position within the company instead of leaving and I turned it down because I couldn't stand how my department and boss was treated. Enough was enough.
