Pros

It’s a job - you at least get a paycheck

Cons

Imagine sitting in a shoebox size room with no window and no ventilation for 12 hrs a day with sick people who cough all over you ... then when you get sick, your company-provided insurance is so awful you get stuck with an $89 bill AFTER insurance covers their piddly amount, just to receive care by a coworker in your own clinic. No thanks! Most people work here 90 days and then leave for real jobs,

Pros

If you enjoy being taken advantage of, being completely miserable, stressed out and depression. This company is perfect for you!

Cons

CVS doesn’t give their employees a fair amount of hours to successfully complete any tasks. Workers are forced to stay over and come in early. Otherwise, things will not be complete and they will either get in trouble or fired. This is especially unfair for managers and pharmacists because they are on SALARY. If CVS has to compensate the pay for all of the managers and pharmacists who stayed over because CVS is too greedy and money hungry to properly staff store, they’d have to file for bankruptcy! If you have ever been in CVS to pick up a prescription and it's not ready, that's why! The employees drowned because they have 1000 tasks and only a hand full of employees/hours to get the job done. Employees are constantly stressed out. Honestly, the people who gave CVS more than the absolute MINIMUM rating are either suffering from Stockholm syndrome ( a condition in which one feels a connection with their abuser), or it’s someone who works for CVS's headquarters, making a fake review so they don’t appear to as TERRIBLE as they are. I’ve met MANY CVS employees in my time, everyone hates it. I can't wait until someone stands up and exposes this trash company for what they really are. This review is put very nicely compared to a review I would have written (along with everyone else who works/worked for CVS) if I were to fully speak my mind. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to write a series of books on my personal experience on how CVS is a greedy crap company, as well as, how much they screw over all of their employees. To sum everything up, you’re better off unemployed.

Pros

The job was great, managers were friendly and the co-workers were always willing to help. Great benefits and chances to move up in the company.

Cons

Having a serious health issue or having a child with a serious health issue is made challenging. They offer FMLA but you still get hit with an occurrence which is pretty much a compliance issue. If you get enough occurrences you lose the job.
