Pros
Was hired as part of a development program. However, the company was going through layoffs I believe every year. So it was only in the program for up to almost 3 years and then there was restructuring and ended up going into a different department. The company has employee resource groups that support an affinity that a person identifies with was which was very helpful with getting acclimated into the company culture.
Cons
I there for 13 years and I feel like I haven't gotten anything out of my time with the company because now that they've laid me off it has not been easy for me to find a position. Now that Aetna's been acquired by CVS, they're layoff practices are not exactly ideal.
