Pros

Not many redeeming features of this place

Cons

Workload far too heavy Current structure and operating model does not work Very toxic managers No one listens to opinions Micromanaged Very poor benefits, only 2 weeks company sick pay no matter how long you work for them which is horrendous No death in service No private medical Any other benefits you have to pay for including PMI at a staggeringly high rate I would not advice anyone to work here, I was suffering anxiety and depression working here

We disagree with some of your comments. For starters, all colleagues are given access to a company health cash plan scheme that they do not have to pay for. This gives access to a range of health benefits where you are reimbursed up to a certain level. We certainly do not believe your comments in any way represent our company culture and we can confirm that certain tasks are not bonused. It sounds like you work in one of our practices and without knowing more, we can’t comment on the work and the management team. However, we encourage a culture that is fair and listens to all. It is regrettable that was not your experience but there are plenty of people who do enjoy working for CVS, which is evidenced by the anonymous monthly colleague survey we do. CVS Team.

Pros

They give set shifts weekly

Cons

Avoid, extremely toxic work environment. No career progression stuck doing the same thing every shift for hours, when you ask to be trained on something different within the department it gets declined. Not able to move between departments when its quiet. No career or training progression, staff very clichy/rude blank you for no reason, very unfriendly from day one, dont seem to like new staff. Pay low. Its a shame as could be very different, frustrating when staff want to progress and learn but get told no. Impacts your mental health.

We would be very keen to discuss your individual circumstances with you further, so would encourage you speak to your line manager, or the HR department if you would prefer.
