Unfair management decisions You can be the best employee and yet still replaceable with a wink of an eye. Treated like a thief when returning to the store to shop with another outfitter. GMA hovered over me at the checkout to be sure I was not using the other outfitters discount or speaking of the incident they terminated me with. (Unfortunately the passion I had for the store lead me to follow a thief out the store to obtain a license plate number and when the car did not move I went further and asked for the product back from the thief. I got the product back and two days later I was terminated for violating the external theft policy). My sales, customer service, attendance, and a 4/5 merit meant nothing. There was no disciplinary action other than straight termination. They told all employee that they were not able to give me a reference as long as they worked for them. Lots of drama from lack of professionalism with management. There’s no privacy my termination was out on the floor the minute I left the building. Last pay was messed up along with my gift card from a previous week for VOC’s. Benefits were disqualified the termination day. Numerous times I emailed HR with no response back and having to reach out to higher management.
