Not only is HR crooked and will side with the most long term employee they will help find a way for them to get rude of you. A girl and I went to HR together asking to be kept anonymous and HR pressured us into coming forward with our names. Both of us received forms of retaliation from our regional manager and our fellow salary members. It got so bad for her that she ended up being forced out and she quit. I received feedback, fair feedback, and immediately worked to impact it. I received praise from many employees that I was doing great. Out of no where a fellow salary leader said that someone complained saying I was condescending. I reached out to multiple partners asking for feedback looking to grow, looking to improve and received nothing but positive feedback, “approachable” “present” “helps where needed” many other lovely things said from the partners. But no negative feedback. When I asked the GM and Regional manager to provide me feedback they replied saying, ‘it wasn’t their job to run around and give me feedback’…. Seems like it is exactly your job in this moment? Fast forward they keep my out of the business for a week. When asked again to provide examples they denied but said “well the feedback is the same across the board”. Which clearly it wasn’t because while they are trying to make up fake excuses I am actually doing an investigation myself. After a week of not allowing me to come to work and having me stress about my job at home, they don’t even have the decency to let me go in person and they terminate me via a virtual call. The reason they gave in the termination was “with cause” no reason given. So if you like a joke of an employer, lack of development, egotistic regional managers who degrade and belittle you, managers with zero empathy… well, this might be the place for you. Please. Save yourself the serious head ache and do not work here.
