      Pros

      Challenging software engineering job. people and culture. focus on innovation. I've seen many people coming back.

      Cons

      head quarter centered at time. This not generally an issue but can be seen when it comes to high level decisions.

      Pros

      The company respects it's employees like no other. Cadence allows very good work-life ballance. You are allowed to work one day a week from home, and generally you and your needs are important to the management. Cadence is a very innovative company, and you're likely to be working on (and expected to create) some very cool technologies.

      Cons

      - Competition is tought. - The EDA (Electronic Design Automation) means nothing to most software engineers, and its hard to master understanding of the domain. - Its a big company, and some processes move slowly. - If you plan your career by buzz-words, most of the teams don't do them...
