Leader in our industry, interesting business and leadership challenges, and a strong need for competence in employees.

Cons

Industry structure is now being impacted by economic changes in our customer base and global economy. Very, very tough business problem to address, and we don't have all the infrastructure and processes to make touch decisions in a systematic way.

Pros

I work with some dynamic people. I am able to somewhat professionally design my job with my credibility, tools, knowledge base, resources, software use, knowledge, and implementation. I am able to take lead without feeling I am stepping on toes. I have satisfied feelings of accomplishment through my work and my presentation. I supply a resource services that are appreciated and utilized by employees globally.

Cons

Over the past three years morale has plummeted. The hierarchical reporting changed and with it many jobs were down graded across the board. The decision is you make the money if you work for “Mr. Top of the Heap,” therefore, supporting the “little guys” (V.P.s, Directors, Managers, employees) gets you no where ever. This affected engineers, administrators, hourly personnel, contractors and hit every business unit across the company. Last month we (hourly employees) were notified that we will not longer be eligible for the company KC bonus twice a year. It is also confirmed that the exempts and executive staff will continue to receive their twice yearly company bonus. Slap me across the face with discrimination! Then, we find out that our stock options are null and we are no longer offered the incentives we had. To top it off, yesterday I find out that our leader makes $13 Million Dollars a year! His residence is paid by the company and there are no stock limitations for him. Yet, I hear from my boss that I am here to do his work for him. What is up with this company?

Frequent layoffs no matter how the well the company is doing, overpaid execs - almost obscene, quite a lot of politics at the higher levels of management, sales/eps driven
