Pros

It is a strong player in the Casino and Resort industry and you have a lot opportunities to learn there. Life is balanced and people are friendly in general.

Cons

More training to employees. And the communication can be better to inspire ideas, passion, etc. Hope to have more projects which can help Harrah's grow and the employees grow as well.

Pros

Work hard and you can move up. Many different properties around the U.S. and some overseas. Many in resort locations.

Cons

Private Equity firm pigs Apollo and TPG have eviscerated this company through massive layoffs and cuts. Customer service went out the window in the name of reducing expenses. Their purchase of Harrah's could not have come at worse time - just before the current recession. They now have (literally) a mountain of debt and cash-strapped, weary consumers are not gambling the way they once did. It is likely that gamblers will be much more conservative after this devastating recession and gamble less frequently.

High pay packet Some excellent squad members New office Big social budget -if you like alcohol You'll do great if you're a 30-50 white male that likes to write code and go to the pub.

Cons

Really poor leadership, huge changes made with last minute comms. Terrible work places behaviours - completely tolerated by management.
