      Disheartening

      Pros

      It was good to have insurance, which came to the rescue more than once. Also, I met wonderful people among both guests and employees. Aspects of the job were quite pleasantly challenging and gave me added confidence in my abilities and potential.

      Cons

      Upper management had a wanton disregard for the concerns and safety of its employees and fostered the same attitude in middle and lower management. Rules were changed often and without warning, sometimes in mid-shift (once only an hour after a particular rule had been discussed in pre-shift).

      Exciting industry, complex work environment

      Pros

      Entertainment industry can bring a lot of excitement and enjoyment since you create experience to delight consumers. Caesars is the most sophisticated brick & mortar gaming company in its strategy and marketing so it's a fulfilling place to work as well.

      Cons

      Strong and colorful personalities tend to work in the industry and make for interesting meetings and conversations. The industry has so much history as an old boys club and the influence of the "old vegas" is still sometimes apparent and trumps change and analytical rigor.

      Pros

      You can make alot of money, working part time or full time if you like the party atmosphere. Be nice to customers and you will earn large tips eventhough they are shared with all dealers for that night of work. It pays off on your bi weekly pay check.

      Cons

      It's smokey and that is a health hazard and can be stressful on a family person working nights and no holidays. Think about it money isn't everything.
