Pros

The company was great 4+ years ago.

Cons

If you want to work in an environment where you have little to no support, feel like you are on an island and have people actively work against you then work at Caesars. The company drones on about culture, however, there is a disintegration at all levels. There has been a mass exodus in senior level tenured employees. If you are thinking of joining ask a LOT of questions, poll your potential peers and have your eyes open for what you will get.

Pros

Good benefits: medical, dental, vision and general wellness. You can pick plans that will work for you. Caesars offers the Wellness program to encourage their employees to take care of themselves physically as well as mentally and financially. Caesars on occasion offer workshops and seminars for employees to attend for free. Those are geared towards the employees who want to further enhance their skills and move up the ladder. A full-time employee (non-managerial) after 1 year, they offer a good amount of PTO (Paid-time off) days. You must use your PTO's before your calendar year ends and they do not cash out! Depending on your department many managers won't allow for you to take all your PTO's at once which does not give their employees an option to travel far. Caesars Entertainment is a huge corporation. You can transfer to different departments however their transferring process is long! By the time you request a transfer you can already find a job elsewhere outside of Caesars.

Cons

The following is a review about the Corporate office. The usual office politics, non-experienced Managers and Senior Management who have huge ego and disrespectful. Many of them look down on others who are not in their level or higher. No respect towards non-managerial employees which causes non-managerial positions to not want to participate or excel for their department. Managers steal ideas and take credit for them. My manager in particular is one of the worst boss I've ever had. This person does not want her employees to do better and this person is clueless about how to market. I am not sure how this person was approved to be Manager because this person is clearly not ready for the title and have ZERO leadership skills. A micro-manager, back-stabbing and disrespectful to others not in her department. It should be a requirement to have ALL upcoming Managers and Senior Management to get proper training on how to be a good leader!!!! Unfair salary for non-managerial positions, even after fulfilling a 1 year with the company. Caesars decides to improve their property but no pay raises for many non-managerial employees at Corporate office. I have heard some did get a raise but only a 2% raise which is chump change. For all the hard work and ideas for the department a pay raise to live the Vegas standard should be STANDARD. Many non-managerial employees are also just as back-stabbing as the Managers and Senior Management. It is an extremely High School environment where certain kids group together to gang up on others. The culture of the company is very backwards thinking and NOT innovative. They are not open to new ideas unless their competitors start. They ride behind. The company tagline is "Inspiring grown ups to play" which is completely false. They are anything but that. Fake! HR department is useless. I have reported someone to HR due to this person's behavior and attitude. After talking to HR they would contact the person who you complain about to have a chat with them. After that chat, HR does not do anything else and only hopes for the best for you. Caesars HR does not care. They could at least put this person reported to training and have them be reported to their boss. HR is useless. Why does this even department exist? Bottom line is you are either a very happy employee or a very unhappy employee at Caesars. There is no middle ground at this company. If you play the game right you MAY survive all the nonsense but if you don't play the game right you end up disgruntled like thousands of employees at Corporate and at the property. I urge you to find another company instead. A place where your ideas and voice is heard.
