Pros

Nothing at all is positive here.

Cons

I worked at California Closets for only five days because they never gave me a chance. It was decent job. Some heavy lifting. I was working on my own with no supervision. When the guy who was training me said he would be working with me for about a month. At 4 pm on Tuesday I got a text from my recruiter saying that I was not learning the stuff fast enough. Okay if I'm not learning the stuff fast enough then how am I able to work by myself? What kind of company gets rid of someone after five days for doing a good job? Don't bother with this company. It's a joke. Then after I emailed the supervisor they said that based on what has been happening in the last few weeks they were making some changes to positions in the shop. Then why did you hire me in the first place? On top of that I had to go to two interviews. And on the second interview I waited on Juan for a good 45 minutes to get there. This is a crappy company to work for. Don't bother. I was working on the CNC.

Ok short term. Not a lot of future potential. Owner is a quack.

Pros

Decent starting wage Four day work week Easy to learn

Cons

Not super welcoming to women even though there are female employees. They hire women, but then make it seem like they are so great becuase they hire women. But they say it like they are doing the world a big favor. Long shifts, lack of proper tools, staff isn't super inviting to those without experience. Older staff members are toxic and condescending if you don't have a ton of experience or are a carpenter.
