Pros

don't have to go to the office everyday

Cons

- Work overtime all the time. - Company does not pay for your vehicle expenses including gas, and your average travel is about 100 kms each day. Calculate yourself how much you are going to make. - No base salary, no laptop, no benefit package. you need to pay everything out of your own pocket and it could be weeks that you don't have a penny of income. - the leads company assigned you are half and half. meaning half of them are not even ready, because the consultation is free. The company doesn't qualify the leads at all as all the expenses are on your own. - the commission that time was only 9% and you often get penalized because the installation doesn't go well. Sometimes it's not even designer's fault. - I was one of the top designers while i was there, and worked 10-12 hours a day including weekends. By the end of the day, my compensation is only at 600k level. On top of that, i have to buy laptop, pay for my internet, pay for my gas, etc. - One of the owners/managers would insult and criticize new designers in front of the customer. This happened 5-6 times with different new designers while i was there for 3 years.

Can be very stressful at times Company changed the compensation plan for the Design Consultants, so now it is very difficult to make anything above an hourly minimum wage. 12 weeks or more of training before getting out into the field
