The pay is acceptable and you have good health benefits. Most vacation days paid at least the important ones. We use to have more but the Union SEIU had to "bargain" with State and slowly we have lost different vacay dates.

Cons

Constant micro managing, call centers have a gate keeper that monitors when you go to the bathroom. Most of the people have been programmed because they need the money that some of this harassment is normal because they want to keep their job, but as soon as you make management accountable for their shady acts, they will make your life miserable and even

Job security, promotional opportunities, lots of variety in jobs available, made to feel of value.

Cons

Knowledge sharing about functions of each branch is lacking. Hiring managers with no people skills and management experience. Certain programs are favorites and receive more funding to purchase new equipment where other programs have to make do or purchase items with their own money.
