Calix provides a flexible working environment. People could choose working anywhere.

Cons

Calix doesn't provide a good AI researching environment. There is few incentive policies to encourage engineers to apply AI on Calix products and service. It's hard for people in different product teams to get enough resources and rewards to enhance current techlogy by AI methods.

Due to short release cycles, have tons of challenging work to do. The learning curve is steep. However, the work provides a great sense of accomplishment.

Cons

The remote work culture means that less face time, so it can be a challenge for people relying on in-person training and whiteboard based brain storming.
