I'm still ramping up at Calix but I can already see I've joined an amazing culture. I kept waiting for 'the other shoe to drop' but it has all been true... This really is a great place to work! The teams I've partnered with cross functionally are fantastic. Everyone has been supportive and helping me ramp up. People are willing to help and knowledge share. I'm poised to do well here, especially if you are eager to grow in your career. This company has been doing remote work for a long time, even prior to covid. They do it REALLY well and collaborate like pros. Pay and benefits are above industry, they have unlimited time off and a really unique 'buy one get one" ESPP. This is in additional to a traditional ESPP 15% discount.

When your purpose is to improve society one community at a time, ensuring that no matter where you live, work or play you can benefit from world-class broadband service, it's fulfilling work. Add to that a culture that values every employee and rocket-ship growth, great benefits and lots of opportunity for professional development. Lastly - fun, yes fun.

Cons

Like most technology companies the pace is fast and the goals stretch you.

Pros

Open door culture where you can feel free to ask questions, challenge and provide your own input to all levels. Wonderful to work with a group of professionals who all work well together and support each other. I've never worked for a company where everyone is so willing to help and all focused on the same goals.

Cons

Work from anywhere is great, but would like a little more face to face team interaction.
