      Pros

      The culture is phenomenal. It feels like Calix truly understands that keeping talent matters and strives to make employees feel valued. The interview process was top notch. Customers are happy and easy to work with. The company is strong and poised to continue along that track.

      Cons

      The onboarding process could use some work. Career paths are a bit ambiguous. Processes are often tedious and not scale-able. Sometimes getting appropriate permissions and/or access to needed applications requires way more follow up than necessary.

      Peers and co-workers are very collaborative and transparent on a daily basis. Management is supportive of all activities.

While there are many benefits, we realize it can pose challenges (coordinating across different time zones) as well. We encourage our employees to take care of themselves to ensure they are showing up to work as the best versions of themselves.
