      A diamond in the rough!

      Pros

      The company went through hyper growth last year and with fast growth naturally came with undefined processes and injection of new people all trying to figure out what to do. That said, people who joined the company have a shared vision and it's not hard to align with the mission of the company. When you get a group of passionate people, who are aligned under a great mission, you can achieve great things. Each person is empowered to do their part and have real impact at the company. It is rare to find a company where you personally align with the mission and values, like the people, and feel financially taken care of - a true diamond in the rough!

      Cons

      Platform overload yet nothing seems to do exactly what you need.

      Good Work & Pay

      Pros

      There are lot of exciting work as well as pay is good and as per industry standard. Benefits are pretty much standard as you find in other good companies.

      Cons

      Sometime work pressure can be overwhelming, and in certain business areas, Calix is still more of a people driven company rather than process driven.

      Calix is a great place to work

      Pros

      Calix cares about their employees. Calix promotes a healthy working environment with flexible Work From Anywhere freedom as well as great benefits (health, dental, 401k, stock options and PTO). I especially enjoy the healthy living benefit which funds memberships, health equipment or anything that promotes a healthy lifestyle.

      Cons

      With the Work From Anywhere philosophy, it is sometimes hard to develop face to face relationships with coworkers but Calix is trying hard to bring groups of people together to allow for team building.

We realize that our 'work from anywhere' policy has many benefits, but can leave employees feeling a little distant from their coworkers. We have implemented Calix Meetup Groups for major cities in North America with 10 or more employees living in the area. It is important to have face to face time with your peers and network outside of your immediate team. We hope you are able to attend the next quarterly meetup event in your area!
