Good place but future prospects uncertain

Pros

Very good engineering team and interesting projects. Company culture is very good.

Cons

Unfortunately it seems Calix has run out of steam and is transitions to a software company. However a lot of deep cuts have been made in projects they claimed were the future of the company only a few weeks ago. It makes no sense other.

We have made the change from a product focused company to a platform company that enables our customers to build new business models...and rapidly. We definitely are a different company.
