Pros
work atmosphere, challenging problems, and the ability to think outside the box to solve a problem instead of just checking the boxes. Opportunity to move up in the company with hard work, self motivation (you don't just get promoted by showing up to work) continual education, and professional registration / publication.
Cons
hours can be long and the politics, but that is any every company large or small but from what I've heard from other companies ours is not that bad considering
