Pros
Products are good and the brand has status
Cons
As far as sales position goes - Products are launched too frequently. Selling model is riddled with cascading prices and customers just keep getting robbed of margins then stuck with old products. If they send back when new products are reintroduced, which most do, it’s just a wash dollar wise and you make very little commission. But if you don’t get that new product placed - you’re history. Customers are constantly berated with promotions and price reductions however they know they must carry Callaway because of the demand. Load the customer way beyond their comfortable inventory levels so they have no open dollars to buy anything else. Politics is also very much in play. If you are not in with the right “good ole boys” network, you have little chance of surviving. Public company so company and bottom line first - all else last including employee’s. Micromanagement Deceitful and Dishonest Management and HR Practices
