      Great before bankruptcy filing during Enron times.

      Pros

      Great learning experience. Diverse skills needed. Work in teams with high quality co workers. Great portfolio of employment benefits too.

      Cons

      To regroup after the unfortunate stock price drop after funding sources thought Calpine was a paper company, like Enron, rather than an asset based company with power plants operating or under development in 27 states.

      Calpine is a very well structured organization. They provide the training necessary to succeed in your work. There are great controls in place to ensure the company is in compliance with the policies and procedures that govern the industry. They strive to hire high quality employees. The benefits are top notch. Enjoyable work environment.
