Pros
Employees are still proud about the job they are doing. Local managers are generally doing the best they can. Benefits are still pretty good
Cons
Senior management appears to harbor substantial distrust and lack of respect for most of their employees. They've been engaging in 1 or 2 "reorgs" every year for the past couple of years. Each reorg results in a few less maintenance and ops folks, a general re-mixing of support activities and a little less efficiency. At this point most people are just keeping their heads down and hoping the next management move doesn't make their job any more difficult. This is not a good environment to work in, people aren't having nearly as much fun as they used to.
