Pros

Got to see a lot of cool things like car crashes, barrier testing, wind tunnel testing, and tire testing. The people you work with make the job fun.

Cons

Working 60-80 hour weeks and only getting paid for 40 is a major buzzkill and makes all of your employees burned out. The higher-ups kept preaching about record profits but none of them made it to the people that work the hardest and longest for those profits. Work culture is very bad, you get questioned why you are leaving after 40 hours a week or 8 hours a day by upper management. It was expected you work 50 hours and not get paid for it,

Pros

It’s a really fun job that’s super busy, always have something to do so you are never bored. Get to work with some really awesome people and crash cars everyday.

Cons

Run a ridiculous schedule that’s determined by upper management who doesn’t ever suffer the consequences of having that much workload because they just get the check. Very bad environment If you don’t agree with the viewpoint of work until you die. Employees are never Recognized for their hard work or even acknowledged. You Don’t get rewarded to being good at your job or putting in extra effort, instead you just are given more work.

Excellent History - No Future

Pros

Very interesting type of work in the Wind Tunnel which was built in the early 60's. So in this decade, there are a great deal of issues with the tunnel because investments have not been made at bringing the tunnel to today' standard of turbulence intensity, for example.

Cons

The newly hired director (I think he did his PhD on watching paint dry from Univ of Buffalo) thinks he knows it all - very arrogant, very obtuse (and thats insulting obtuse people). deJong is duhjong Sr. management do not understand the laws of physics in the capacity required to run the Transonic wind tunnel - and they are responsible for hiring idiots like the director. I guess idiots hiring idiots and that's why there is no future at Calpsan Wind tunnel facility Sr. management also hires family members - so good luck with that
