      Growing pains akin to a fresh startup, but the company is 30 years old. Non-profit pay range.

      Transforming transportation for good together!

      Pros

      Passionate, intelligent and motivated team members working together to achieve mission success, diversity and inclusion is a core value, flexible work hours, access to a growing network of individuals and organizations that share the same mission.

      Cons

      Though the benefit package is very strong, the vacation/PTO plan is not aligned with the rest of the industry.

      Org that has been a light in the forest for clean transportation is now THE place to be in a hot field

      Pros

      Unparalleled capability and relationships for working on EVs and clean transportation industry in the field Truly mission-focused driven; holds itself accountable to results Committed to increasing diversity a few years ago and has made significant progress at board and staff level HR director is great! Really. She has nearly remade the organization’s culture in year Organization is growing. After being one of a few loud voices on EVs for 25 years, the org is now finding itself in serious demand

      Cons

      Still has some ways go to to integrate equity and inclusion into the mission and operations Parental leave / flexibility policies are not yet up to modern standard for a progressive, tech-oriented, mission-driven org...though some staff have negotiated leave arrangements individually

      Thank you for your thoughts, we really appreciate you taking the time to write a review. As for our updated policies, our new handbook is in the final stages. Parental leave and many other practices are being revised and updated. So look forward to that! I am also looking forward to seeing equity expand (internally AND) externally. Hopefully, we can retain great people like you who will continue to push us forward.
